X300
I recently purchased an X300 3.2 Soveriegn from what turned out to be a dodgy garage !!
I have a few problems that need resolving:
1/ I have suspension noise from front and rear, I have not really had much time to look at the car but I did notice the front shocker tops were showing signs of moeement, Is it common to have problems with these? what about rear suspension noise?
2/ I have a nasty metalic noise when pulling off fast, I suspect this maybe a transmission noise? It only happens when under strain but shuts up as soon as the revs go down !!
3/ The boot lid does not stay up, What should stop it closing on my head?
4/ It drives really bad, I am hoping this is down to the suspension problems !! Do they really drive this bad? I also have a 2.2d x type estate so maybe I am trying to compare a 12 yr old car with 1 thats just over a year old !!
